    Heat some oil in a heavy skillet.

    Brown the spicy Italian sausage in the skillet.

    Cook the garlic until fragrant.

    Add Calabrian chillies and tomato paste, and cook until caramelized.

    Deglaze with red wine and let simmer until the alcohol is cooked off.

    Add heavy cream and stir until silky and luxurious.

    Cook the pasta until al dente.

    Add the pasta to the sauce and finish with butter, Parmigiano Reggiano, a splash of pasta water, and chopped parsley.
