    Preheat oven to 175°C. Line an 8-inch pan baking paper.

    Beat the butter, sugar, and salt in the bowl, then gradually add in the flour.

    Pour crust into the pan, and press down into an even, compact layer, then bake for 10 minutes.

    Combine the brown sugar, DEF and flour in a bowl and whisk in the eggs, honey, butter, vanilla and salt until smooth.

    Stir in the pecan halves and let sit for 5-10 mins to thicken.

    Pour the filing onto the base and bake 40 until the middle is set.

    Once cooked, let the bars cool down 100% before you slice. Don’t slice while warm.
