Thai Basil Beef Stirfry | Pad Kra Pao

A wonderful quick and easy stirfry that’s full of flavor and will be the staple in your weekly dinner rotation!

Ingredients

Meat

Vegetables

Eggs

Herbs

Grains

Directions

    Mince or make a paste out of the shallots, garlic cloves and chilies.

    Fry down and sunny side up egg and set aside.

  3. 3

    Fry down the paste or shallots and chilies until fragrant.

  4. 4

    Add the beef (and garlic) and cook until the beef is not pink anymore.

  5. 5

    Add the long beans and toss for a minute or so.

  6. 6

    Season with the soy sauces, fish sauce, oyster sauce and palm sugar. Let simmer until it begins to caramelize.

    Turn off the heat and stir in the Thai basil.

    Serve with jasmine rice, and the crispy fried egg on top.
