    Heat up the milk and mix with the yeast and sugar. Let rest for 15 minutes covered with a damp towel.

    Add all the other ingredients except for the butter, cinnamon and plums. Knead for 10 minutes before adding the butter.

    Knead again until it doesn’t stick to the bowl anymore (add more flour only if needed). Let rise with a damp towel for 1 hour.

    Layer the dough on a greased baking tray and spread out evenly. Let rise covered for 20 minutes

    In the meantime half the plums and remove all the pits.

    Layer the plums with the open side to the upside onto the dough, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.

    Bake at 180 - 200 degrees Celsius or 350 - 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 30-40 minutes.

    After step 5: mix all the “optional” ingredients together so crumbs will form. Sprinkle all over the plums.


Notes

Don’t try to save it for long it will get old very fast, best to enjoy it the day it is made!
