Broccoli Pesto Pasta
Absolutely packed with vitamins, antioxidants and healthy fats this is a great way to get extra greens in!

Boil the broccoli for 4-5 minutes until tender.

Meanwhile blend the garlic, pine nuts, parmesan, olive oil, lemon juice and basil until smooth.

Scoop out the broccoli from the water and set aside.

Bring the water back to a boil and cook your pasta, you can also throw some peas in there for extra greens and protein.

Add 3/4s of the broccoli to the pesto and blend until smooth. Add a little pasta water or extra olive oil to thin if needed.

Mix the pesto with your cooked pasta and top with the remaining broccoli (great to encourage self-feeding for babies). For adults I like to add extra parmesan, salt, pepper and some chilli flakes
