EP 26: Sweet Pudla - GUJARATI 101, documenting all my mums recipes

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1

Combine jaggery with hot water and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until all the jaggery has melted. Stir it to let the jaggery dissolve.

  2. 2

Combine the chapati flour with oil and the melted jaggery and mix well until the consistency is very liquidy, similar to a crêpe batter.

  3. 3

Take a ladleful and slowly pour out the mixture whilst creating circles on the flat non stick pan. Then add a touch of oil around the edges then after 1 minute flip over adding another touch of oil letting that cook for 45 seconds then flip over once more. Once cooked through and golden brown, it’s ready to eat!
