Sweet Potato & Pea Vada

Boil the sweet potatoes and mash it up 1 Tbsp of Maggi Chilli Sauce and mix well

For pea masala - heat the oil and add the mustard seeds, wait until they start popping. then add the dried red chilli, cinnamon stick, asafoetida, salt, turmeric, sugar, red chilli powder and maggi chilli sauce and mix well

Add the pea masala mix to the sweet potato mix along with the freshly chopped coriander - mix well

Gradually add water to the gram flour whisking until ithe flour is completely combined. The batter should be thick

Heat up good amount of frying oil to a skillet on medium to high heat

Roll the sweet potato and pea mixture into ball size and completely coat in the gram flour and transfer to the hot oil. Fry for 2 minutes on each side

For the Chutney, blitz together coriander, sugar, salt, 1 green chilli, water
