    mix brown sugar, miso paste, mirin, water and low sodium soy sauce together.

    set aside 3 tbsp of of the miso mixture for glazing.

    add salmon, you can also use any other fish.

    marinate for at least 4 hours.

    place the marinated salmon onto a oiled baking sheet.

    broil on high, middle rack for 5 mins and pull it out of the oven and glaze with the miso paste you have set aside from earlier.

    broil for another 5 mins or until it’s golden on the top.

    garnish with green scallions
