Banana Bread Donuts with Maple Cream Cheese

    Pre heat oven to 170°C + grease a donut tray

    Combine dry ingredients in one bowl. In another bowl, mash your bananas and mix in remaining wet ingredients.

    Add wet mixture to the dry & combine to form a batter.

    Place batter into a piping bag and fill each donut mould 3/4 full (to allow room for rising as they bake)

    Place in the oven for 8-10 minutes and remove once risen & golden. Allow to cool completely before removing from the donut tray and frosting.

    Frosting: whisk cream cheese, maple syrup and vanilla together using an electric mixer on high speed.

    Cover each donut in a generous layer of frosting and a light sprinkle of cinnamon.


Notes

p.s if you don’t have donut trays, they would just as good as muffins
