A childhood favourite dish made with lean mince, onions, and gravy.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1

Pop the mince in a mixing bowl with all your seasoning. Give it a good mix, grab a palm sized piece of mixture and make into a flat meatball shape. I got 8 from mine.

  2. 2

Cook these on a hot pan until golden and brown and remove.

  3. 3

Add in the onion and a 100mls of water to lift the browning of the meat from the pan for extra flavour. Cook the onions through until soft and golden.

  4. 4

Mix the gravy granules with the boiling water in a jug and stir through then add it to the hit pan. Let it mix well with the onion for a few mins until it bubbles and thickens. (You can add some cornflour to help thicken if needed or extra gravy granules)

  5. 5

Once you have a nice thick onion gravy pop the mince back in and let that coat in the gravy.

  6. 6

Serve with creamy mash and veg of your choice
