    Heat the wine until hot but not boiling.

    Add the cheese handfuls at a time and stir to combine.

    Mix the cornflour and kirsch to form a paste.

    Stir through the cheese fondue and mix to combine.

    Cook on a low heat for 4-5 minutes to thicken slightly.

    Rub the pot with a raw garlic clove.

    Pour into the fondue pot and serve with crusty bread, potatoes and cold cuts.
