My go-to pantry pasta. I stocked up with my pantry favorites from the @waitrose No. 1 range, which honestly took this dish to the next level. I make a variation of tuna pasta almost once a week, and this is definitely my favorite.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1

Boil the pasta in salted water according to the packaging instructions

  2. 2

Mince your herbs and get all your other ingredients ready

  3. 3

Add the egg yolk, zest, and juice of half a lemon and a generous grating of parmesan to a large bowl. Whisk together.

  4. 4

Reserve 1 cup of pasta water. Once the pasta is al dente, use thongs to transfer it to the bowl. Place the bowl on top of your pot, and mix vigorously. Add a few splashes of pasta water until you have a saucy pasta.

  5. 5

Add in the tuna, olives, and most of the fresh herbs. Mix thoroughly.

  6. 6

Plate the pasta and finish with more herbs and crushed pistachios.
