Homemade Hazelnut Spread

Making your own stuff is so rewarding, and you don’t need a big garden on the country side to do it! I live in a big city, in a pretty rough neighborhood. But even here I find hazelnuts, plums, nettles and apples growing around.

    Toast your hazelnuts until golden, about 10-15 minutes.

    Blend them in a high speed blender until nice and runny.

  3. 3

    Depending on your blender, this might take a while. Once smooth, add cocoa powder, powdered sugar and salt, and blend again until thoroughly mixed.


Notes

This can easily be adapted. For example you a change the sweetener, make it more or less sweet, or add other flavours. It’s all up to you!
