In a large bowl, combine all the meatball ingredients.

Take a small portion of the mixture and roll it between your hands.

Heat the oil in a pan, add the meatballs to the pan and fry for 6-7 minutes over medium-high heat.

Continuously turn and cook the meatballs to ensure even browning on all sides.

Remove the meatballs from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add the 1 tbsp oil, chopped onion, and pepper and cook for 2-3 minutes over high heat until softened.

Add the chopped garlic and cook for a minute until fragrant.

Add the chopped tomatoes and cook for a few minutes until softened, then stir in the tomato puree and seasonings.

Pour in the water, add the meatballs to the pan, cover with a lid, and simmer for 15-16 minutes.

Stir in the Boursin cheese.

Arrange the hot dog buns in a baking dish, then fill up the buns with the meatballs in a creamy sauce.
