Crispy Hot Honey Chicken Burgers

Now I can’t say these are healthy but they are definitely worth making for a treat night!

Ingredients

Hot honey sauce

Wet batter

Dry batter

Directions

    To a bowl add the chicken and all of the wet batter ingredients. Mix well, cover and marinate in the fridge for at least 4 hours.

    Mix together the dry batter ingredients and coat each thigh with it. Ensure you really pat this in. Leave to sit for around 15 mins.

    Add the oil to a pan & heat through on a medium to high heat until it sizzles when you drop a bit of the wet batter in there.

    Add the chicken to the oil and cook for 7 mins on either side until cooker through.

    Whilst the chicken is cooking mix together all of the sauce ingredients.

    Once the chicken is cooked remove from the oil and set to one side.

    Brush each side of the burgers with the sauce. You can also add these to a bowl and pour the sauce over, just be cautious of not mixing too much as the batter may fall off!!

    Stack the burger with lettuce, chicken a drizzle of more sauce, pickles & ranch sauce then ENJOY!!
