Chocolate Cacao Brioche Buns

    Add lukewarm milk to a bowl and add the yeast. Give it a stir and add sugar and butter.

    Mix the cacao powder with the flour and add to the milky mix, add the eggs and stir till everything is combined.

    Place the dough on a floured surface and knead for 5-10 minutes until a soft and smooth dough is formed.

    Cover and rest for 1 hour in your warmest place.

    While the dough is rising prepare the filling by melting the butter and chocolate together.

    Add the cocoa powder and sugar and stir well. Leave to cool.

    Prespare your muffin tin or oven dish with parchment paper.

    When the dough has risen decompress and roll out into a square / rectangle shape.

    Spread the filling all over and fold over one third and then the other third on top as shown in the video.

    Roll out a little (not too much) slice into 6 or 8 pieces then cut each piece into 4 slices and braid as shown in the reel.

    Once shaped cover and rest for 30 minutes while you preheat your oven to 175C.

    Brush with milk or egg wash and bake for 22-25 minutes.

    Brush with honey or maple syrup as soon they come out of the oven.
