Happy Hour Snacks to the rescue - making life easy with heaps of ideas of how to throw together things that already taste great, into exceptionally tasty/punchy/interesting wine bar-ish snacks.

    Punch out cute wee rounds from your crumpets, or cut them into bite sized pieces.

    Set aside ready to be toasted with butter in a pan on medium heat.

  3. 3

    Drain excess liquid from crab meat, then mix together all remaining ingredients.

  4. 4

    Taste, season, taste, season.

  5. 5

    Fry the crumpet rounds in butter on both sides until crispy.

  6. 6

    Spoon on the crab tartare mixture, top with some reserved chives if you want to make them look a little fancier than mine.
