Whenever I’m craving something both soupy and meaty, soup dumplings hit the spot every time. Since discovering that they can be pan-fried, it has become my favorite way to cook them. The crispy bottom contrasts wonderfully with the juicy filling, and they become even more irresistible when I layer them with my favorite sauces, creating a burst of flavors in every bite.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1

Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add frozen dumplings and cook until the bottoms are golden brown.

  2. 2

Pour in water, enough to submerge the dumplings halfway. Cover and reduce heat to medium. Steam for about 10 minutes or until the water almost evaporates.

  3. 3

In a bowl, combine Gochujang, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, toasted sesame seeds, sugar, and scallion greens. Mix well.

  4. 4

Pour the sauce over the cooked dumplings and enjoy!
