One of my all-time favorite ways to cook bok choy is to pair it with the sweet and savory notes of oyster sauce, giving each bite bursts of umami goodness. It’s simple, delicious, and always a hit at the dinner table.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1

Cut the bok choy in halves, wash thoroughly under cold water, and drain.

  2. 2

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add salt.

  3. 3

Add the bok choy and blanch for 30-45 seconds until they turn bright green. Drain and set aside.

  4. 4

In a skillet over medium heat, add oil and garlic. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  5. 5

Turn the heat to low, pour in the sauce mixture, and stir until it thickens.

  6. 6

Plate the bok choy and drizzle the sauce on top. Enjoy!
