Saucy Mushroom Udon
Obsessed with these noodles lately! Made a super quick stir-fry with shiitake mushrooms in a killer savory sauce (with a spicy kick, obvs). I’m using @kame_brand udon noodles because they’re thick, chewy, and so slurpable! Everything is ready in under 15 minutes, perfect for a cozy night in or a quick lunch fix.
Ingredients
Directions
- 1
In a small bowl, combine the light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, white pepper, and unsalted chicken broth (or water). Mix well and set aside.
- 2
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- 3
Add the mushrooms and sauté until they have released their excess liquid and are turning golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- 4
Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, stirring frequently to prevent the garlic from burning.
- 5
Add KA-ME Udon Stir-Fry Noodles and pour in the stir-fry sauce.
- 6
Cook and simmer the noodles, gently separating them until they begin to loosen and absorb the sauce, about 3-4 minutes.
- 7
Toss everything together to ensure the noodles are well coated with the sauce.
- 8
Drizzle chili oil and garnish with scallions.
