San Chow Mein Style Lettuce Cups

Chow Mein that’s all natural with no added sugar (it gets that little bit of sweetness from monk fruit extract) thanks again to @mingleseasoning.

    Add sesame oil to a large fry pan and heat on medium/high.

    Add mince and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon to prevent lumps forming.

  3. 3

    Add most of the Chow Mein Recipe base leaving two teaspoons behind for later. Cook stirring for one minute.

    Add chopped cabbage and coleslaw and cook stirring for 1-2 minutes.

    Add soy sauce and chicken stock and simmer for another 2 minutes.

    Allow mince to cool slightly and prepare lettuce cups by rinsing and drying them.

    Mix hoisin sauce with the leftover Chow Mein seasoning.

    Fill each lettuce cup with mince, crispy noodles, more spring onion and a drizzle of hoisin! Enjoy!
