This is the new contender for the most flavourful rice - it's so herby and spicy, it's defo a winner for me

    Sautée the onion, garlic and ginger for 3mins on medium heat.

    Then add in your spices and fry for a further 2mins.

  3. 3

    Follow this step for the herbs and then add in the (washed) rice.

  4. 4

    Once mixed through, add in the water and tamarind paste before bringing to a boil.

  5. 5

    Once bubbling, reduce heat and cover lid for 15 minutes.

  6. 6

    Serve with your vegan prawns/shrimp
