once you make this spice mix, you'll want to add it to EVERYTHING (take it from someone who has made it multiple times!)

    Rinse, drain and squeeze out any excess moisture from the mushrooms.

    Add any dairy free milk and an acid of your choice to a container, Mix well and add your mushrooms and let it sit for at least 20 minutes.

    Make your spice mix and dry dredge.

    Squeeze the excess liquid from the mushroom dip it into the dry dredge then back into the buttermilk and back into a dry dredge for a final time.

    Heat up some neutral oil on medium high heat and add each mushroom piece ensuring various space in the pan fry on both sides for around 2 minutes each and drain the excess oil on a paper napkin.

NB: *I used half the recipe stated here and came out with 1½ bottles of spice in total.
