Easy 3-minute chilli oil with minimum ingredients!

    In a large heat-proof bowl combine crushed chillies, Chinese five spices and salt. Mix it well. Add minced garlic and sesame seeds on top.

    Heat the oil over medium-high heat at about 350°F/180°C. Add the ginger slices and fry them until golden brown. Discard the fried ginger.

    Gently pour the ginger-infused oil over the crushed chilli bowl. Stir it well. Let it cool completely, then keep it in a clean jar.


Notes

Note: You can adjust the ingredients. If you like more oil, you can increase the oil ratio. You can also add a dash of MSG or sugar to your taste.
