Crispy Chilli Garlic Butter Enoki Mushroom

A crispy and spicy fried enoki mushroom recipe with a refreshing drink pairing suggestion.

Chilli garlic butter sauce

Spicy Mayo

Directions

    Trim off the bottom roots. Cut or separate the mushroom into small bunches.

    Wash the mushroom and pat them dry.

  3. 3

    In small bowl, mix all the batter ingredients and mix well until achieve a smooth consistency.

    Dip each enoki piece into the batter on both sides.

    Heat up 2 cups of oil in a medium pan over medium heat, carefully add the battered enoki mushroom to the oil. Fry 2-3 minutes on each side or until they’re golden brown.

    Transfer to a lined plate or metal rack to remove the excess oil.
