    Preheat a griddle or skillet to medium-low heat.

    Butter one side of each bread slice.

    Layer cheese on the unbuttered side: cheddar, mozzarella, provolone, and Colby Jack.

    Top with remaining bread slices, buttered side up.

    Cook for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown. Cover with a lid for 2 minutes to melt cheese.

    Flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.


Notes
