Slice the beef thinly against the grain.

Slice the green bell peppers and onion.

Mince the garlic.

Heat the cooking oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.

Add the sliced onion and green bell peppers to the skillet. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt.

Stir fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened and fragrant.

Push the vegetables to the side of the skillet and add the beef to the center.

Add garlic powder, LOTS OF black pepper and pour in the cooking wine and soy sauce. Stir well to combine.

Stir fry the beef until it’s cooked through and nicely browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Add more black pepper to taste, depending on your preference for spice.

Once the beef and peppers are cooked through and the sauce has thickened slightly, remove from heat.

Serve the beef and pepper stir fry over cooked rice.
