These are one of my favourite snacks! I found them at the farmers market and decided to make them at home with just a few ingredients and about 10 minutes you can have a plate for yourself.

    Wash and trim your peppers, coat with olive oil and sear on all sides in a hot cast iron pan (about 2-3min per side)

    Transfer to a plate and season with flakey salt, finishing olive oil and a nice squeeze of lemon juice


Notes

A gentle warning that most often shishito peppers have a mild flavour to them but every once in a while you get a super spicy one! It’s fun and not too major, just probably not the best for little kids.
