    Fry 3 medium sized onions with Khara masala till it’s light brown, take it out and make a paste by adding some water. Set aside

    Now in the same pot add 4-5 tomatoes (puréed), Spices (red chilli powder, turmeric, salt, coriander and chilli flakes 1tsp each or as per preference), 1/2 cup yogurt, some water and let this cook as shown in the video.

    Meanwhile prepare koftay: In 1kg chicken boneless 2-4 green chillies, garlic cloves (6-7), 1tsp ginger, green onions 1/2 cup, 1tbsp soaked khaskhas, mint and coriander leaves, red chilli flakes, salt, chilli powder, garam masala, cumin seeds (tsp each) and 1tbsp baisan Grind this add 2tbsp oil and make koftay.

    Add the koftay in salan, mix occasionally as shown add a glass of water, cook this for another 10 mins on medium flame.

    Once done, garnish with green chillies, coriander and garam masala.
