Gluten Free Cinnamon Apple Blondies

Gluten free cinnamon apple blondies- loaded up with fresh diced apples and a delicious maple cream cheese frosting. So soft and fluffy- promise you would never know this is gluten free!!

    Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8″ pan with parchment paper (tip: spray the loaf pan first to help the parchment lay flatly).

    In a large bowl whisk the almond flour, oat flour, tapioca starch, coconut sugar, cinnamon, baking soda and powder, and sea salt.

    In a separate bowl, whisk the remaining wet ingredients together, then mix into the dry ingredients until a smooth batter forms. Fold in the peeled and diced apples.

    Pour batter into your lined baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to completely cool before frosting.

    While blondies cool, make your frosting by beating all ingredients together with a hand mixer until smooth. Spread onto cooled blondies, sprinkle with cinnamon, slice and enjoy!
