Roti Jala
A lacy Malaysian pancake made from a batter of flour, milk, and turmeric.

Mix all ingredients well combined and whisk until batter is smooth. Pour through a sieve to break up small lumps.

Let the batter rest for at least 30 minutes.

Transfer the batter into the Roti Jala mould.

Heat a non-stick pan on low fire and squeeze the bottle and move to create a lacy design.

There is no need to cook on the other side. Remove the net pancake once it is changed to lighter color.

Fold in both sides to the centre and roll it to form a small log, serve warm.
