Steak with Button Mushroom Marsala Sauce
This sauce is the perfect autumn flavor and so delish on any protein

Salt your steak and bring it to room temperature. Preheat your oven to 225°F.

Add your steak to the oven for about 15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches roughly 10°F less than your desired final temperature.

Remove steak from the oven and heat a cast iron pan with beef tallow.

Sear the steak on each side for about one minute until you get a good crust.

Remove the steak from the oven and allow it to rest.

While the steak is resting, add butter to the pan you just cooked the steak in.

Add chopped garlic and mushrooms.

Allow them to sautée for a bit and then deglaze the pan with wine.

Add bone broth, herbs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper and cook down for about ten minutes until it's thickened up.

Spoon sauce over steak and enjoy with your favorite sides.
