Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies

    Preheat oven to 350F.

    Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda & salt.

    In a different bowl, whisk together melted & cooled butter, white sugar, & brown sugar. Make sure there’s no lump.

    Add egg & vanilla paste. Whisk to combine.

    Add in flour mixture & use a spatula to fold everything together.

    Use a large cookie scoop to scoop out dough. Use a small spoon or finger to make a dent in the center, place soft caramel candy in & form a ball.

    Place dough balls on a sheet tray lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12 minutes.

    Remove from the oven & sprinkle flaky salt on top if desired.
