Maple Pecan Cookie Bars

gooey oaty vegan cookie bars with pools of melty dark chocolate chunks and flaky seasalt. Have a slice warm with a scoop of diary free vanilla ice cream and you’re in heaven

Ingredients

Directions

    lightly toast the pecans over medium heat until heated through. then add maple and vanilla. set aside to cool

    line a 8” square tin.

    whisk melted butter and sugars until creamy, then add vanilla and milk

  4. 4

    fold in dry: flour, cinnamon, cornstarch, baking soda, salt, and oats to get a cookie dough

    roughly chop the pecans and chocolate and add to the cookie dough

  6. 6

    add to tin, flatten and then refrigerate for 30mins

  7. 7

    preheat oven to 180degrees celcious and bake for 25 mins

    top with flaky salt, then let cool slightly before slicing and serving
