    Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. While the noodles are cooking, work on the sauce. Make sure to toss the noodles with 1-2 tbsp butter once drained.

    To a medium pan add 1 tsp oil, ground beef, garlic powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. Break up the beef and cook 5 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.

    Wipe the pan with a paper towel, then add 1 teaspoon oil and the butter. Sáuté the onion, mushrooms, and garlic for 8 minutes. Add the tomato paste and cook 2 mins.

    Add flour and cook for 2 mins, constantly stirring for the flour not to burn. Slowly pour in the beef broth while stirring with a spatula, ensuring there are no lumps. Season with Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Simmer 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat, stir in the sour cream and return to the heat. Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer over medium-low for 2 mins.

    Add the dill and season more to taste if needed. Serve over buttered noodles. Enjoy!
