This burger has all the classic elements, caramelised onions, mayo, beef patty, bbq sauce and cheese but with one ingredient that really elevates it….maple bacon

    Slice the onions and gently pan fry until caramelised

    Gently form the beef into patties

  3. 3

    Brush the bacon with maple syrup and some black pepper and grill or cook till your liking

  4. 4

    Push the onions aside and dry fry the patties in the hot pan on both sides, add the cheese slice and allow it to melt

  5. 5

    Layer up your burger with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, beef patty, the bacon and spread bbq sauce on the inside of the lid
