Cookie Dough Icing Chocolate Cake

Take your chocolate cake to a whole new level by adding the most delicious icing that tastes like cookie dough!

    Whisk the cocoa powder into the hot water/coffee mix, add oil, buttermilk and eggs, whisk till smooth

    Add flour and sugar, whisk again then stir in vinegar and bicarbonate of soda, divide between three cake tins and bake on 180, for about 30 minutes till a toothpick comes out clean, allow to cool

    Microwave the flour in 30 second intervals for 2 minutes stirring in between (this makes the flour safe to eat)

    Melt the brown sugar with water in a saucepan till dissolved, allow to cool

  5. 5

    Beat icing sugar and butter together, add flour and mix again

  6. 6

    Add the brown sugar water, salt and milk, give it another stir then fold through chocolate

  7. 7

    Layer up the cakes and icing and finish with any decorations you like
