Elevated Ham & Pineapple Pizza

Welcome back to Slice & Swirl, where I share 3 of my favourite pizza toppings on @toscano_authentic’s hand-crafted, stone-baked pizza bases from Italy. The classic Ham & Pineapple is elevated with caramelised pineapple, rosemary, hot honey, and creamy feta. Made on Toscano’s Gluten Free Pizza Bases so everyone can enjoy! A crisp, dry Riesling pairs perfectly with the sweet and salty flavours.

    Preheat the oven to 230°C with a thick-bottomed tray inside.

    Caramelize the pineapple slices in a hot, dry pan for 2 minutes on each side, then cut into small pieces.

    Spread pizza sauce over the bases, top with mozzarella, ham, pineapple, half the rosemary, salt, pepper, and drizzle with olive oil.

    Place the pizza on the hot tray and bake for 8-10 minutes. Repeat for the second pizza.

    Serve sliced, drizzled with hot honey, remaining rosemary, feta, and parsley.
