Starbucks Egg Bites
Easy and delicious homemade version of Starbucks egg bites

Pre heat oven to 300 degrees

Fry bacon until crispy in oven or a heavy skillet. Transfer to paper towel. Once cooled, cut bacon into small pieces and crumble. Set aside.

In a blender or a food processor, add all custard ingredients. Blend for about 30 seconds.

Pour the egg custard in to a measuring cup with a spout.

Place a 12 cup silicone pan on a baking sheet. Lightly spray the cups with avocado oil.

Pour the egg batter into the cups about 3/4 way up. Any remaining batter can be equally distributed in to the cups.

Sprinkle on the bacon to each cup and press down with the back of a spoon to ensure that the bacon is baked inside the bite and not just on top.

Transfer the pan to the preheated oven. Carefully pour the boiling water to the bottom of the baking sheet creating a water bath.

Bake for 30 minutes at 300 degrees.

Remove from oven and allow to cool for about 5 minutes before removing egg bites from the pan. Once removed, serve immediately.

Refrigerate for 2 days or freeze (wrapped airtight) for about 1-2 months. Re heat in airfryer for about 5-6 minutes at 350 degrees.

*add spinach, caramelized onions, ham or herbs for different flavor!
