No Knead Homemade Baguettes

The easiest way to make real homemade baguettes. Perfect for the school lunchboxes and they can also be popped into the freezer to use throughout the week.

    Add the flour to a large bowl, mix in the salt. Then add the yeast and mix. Pour in the water and give it a good mix. Cover with a lid and leave to prove for at least 8 hours or overnight.

    Flour the worktop heavily, then pour out the dough, flour the top of the dough. Then shape in to an oblong. Cut your dough into 4 equal parts.

    Place baking paper on a wire rack. Pop the dough onto the wire rack and gently pull them to stretch them out. (Be careful as you don’t want to lose all the air inside).

    Place into a preheated oven at 220 degrees for 25/30 minutes until til golden and crispy.

    Let them cool and fill with anything you fancy!
