    Add the beef to a bowl then season with S&P, paprika, mixed herbs and flour.

    Place in a heavy pot on a high temperature and seal on all sides.

    Remove the beef from the pot and add the onion and garlic and cook until softened.

    Add the carrots and tomato puree and mix.

  5. 5

    Add the beef back into the pot, with 500ml of water and the stock cube.

  6. 6

    Bring to a simmer, add the mustard and rosemary then place the lid on and cook until the beef is tender.

  7. 7

    Spoon the mixture into a pie dish and top with your mashed potatoes and pop into a pre heated oven at 180 until golden.
