Add all the ingredients into a pot & bring to a boil over medium/high heat whisking frequently.

Once boiling reduce heat to medium/low & boil for 5-8 minutes until the mixture has slightly thickened.

Cool to room temperature, the syrup will continue to thicken as it cools.

Store in a jar in the refrigerator.
