Garlic Aioli Steak Sandwich
This has got to be the TASTIEST steak sandwich I have ever made 😮💨 juicy steak paired with a delicious homemade garlic aioli with cheese and a balsamic rocket for a quick and easy dinner 🤌🏻

Start by melting the butter in a saucepan. Once melted, add in the onion, stirring over low heat.

Season the steak all over with salt and pepper. Add the steak to a hot frying pan. I cook it for 1 minute each side for medium rare for the thickness of this steak used. Once cooked, remove from the pan and leave to rest.

Check on the onions and add a splash of water in increments to help them to brown, giving them a good stir. If using bake at home rolls, follow the packet instructions for cooking now.

Whilst the onions brown, make the garlic aioli sauce with the ingredients listed and set to one side.

Slice the ciabatta rolls in half, add the cheese slices and melt under the grill or in the oven.

Meanwhile, slice the steak into small pieces. Once you have sliced the steak, in a bowl toss the rocket salad with balsamic glaze if using.

Add half of the garlic aioli to the bottom of the ciabattas, topping with the rocket salad, steak, the cooked onions and remaining garlic aioli drizzled all over the top.
