Cajun Philly Cheesesteak Pasta

Season the steak all over with a tsp of cajun seasoning. Thinly slice the steak into strips.

Heat a pan over high heat and then add the steak. Cook for a minute before flipping and cooking for a further minute. Remove from the pan and set to one side.

In the same pan, add the chopped garlic, along with the onion and pepper. Fry until softened.

Meanwhile, bring the pasta to boil in a large pan of salted water.

Once the onion and pepper has softened, add in the cream cheese, 1 and ½ tsp cajun seasoning, oregano, Worcestershire sauce, beef stock and 150ml hot water. Mix to combine and return to medium heat.

Drain the pasta water, reserving a couple of ladles.

Take a spoonful of the sauce for later before adding in the cheese to the pan of sauce, mixing well before adding in the cooked pasta. Use a ladle of pasta water to loosen the sauce.

Serve the pasta with the cooked steak on top and the sauce reserved. Sprinkle over the fresh parsley.
