Pear, Stem Ginger, Almond Crumble

I love a bit of ginger and this is a v good crumble for Autumn. Pears are so good right now but this would be good with apples too.

Ingredients

For the crumble

    Preheat the oven to 200 degrees fan setting.

    Peel the pears and chop into touch inch sized pieces.

  3. 3

    Toss with the rest sugar, flour, spices and ginger syrup then transfer to your crumble dish.

    Combine the crumble mixture together (I tend to just use the same bowl).

  5. 5

    Top the pears and bake for 45 mins to 1 hour until the crumble is golden.

    Serve with double cream or vanilla ice cream.
