Super Fluffy Whole Wheat Dinner Rolls

    Melt the butter. Add water and milk and bring to 37°C (98.6°F)

    Dissolve the yeast in the buttermilk

    In a large bowl, mix all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour and salt

    Add the liquid to the dry ingredients and mix well using a stand mixer

  5. 5

    Add two eggs and let the mixer work for about ten minutes until the dough comes nicely together - dough will still be rather sticky

    Cover and let rise for about 45 minutes

    Make 30 rolls and place them on a large baking tray lined with parchment paper - cover and let rise for another 30 minutes

    Brush rolls with melted butter and put some freshly grated Parmesan cheese on top

  9. 9

    Bake at 200°C (392°F) - middle rack - for 20-25 minutes. Once out of the oven, brush with some more melted butter.
