Combine wet ingredients + sugar in a bowl.

Combine dry ingredients.

Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix till no dry is visible.

Add halved figs to cake pan coated in oil and parchment paper at the bottom.

Add cake batter to the pan.

Bake at 350 for 35-40 min depending on your oven.

Test with a toothpick.
