The Viral Crispy Rice Salad — Vietnamese Edition!

For the crispy rice, use refrigerated cooked rice, liquid seasoning, chili oil, and sesame oil. For the Vietnamese dressing, use garlic, lime juice, fish sauce, sugar, water, Thai chili, and cilantro. For the salad, use romaine, cucumbers, red onion, chili peppers, steak, and mint leaves.

    In a bowl, combine the rice, sesame oil, chili oil, and liquid seasoning until well-combined. Then transfer to a baking sheet and bake on 425° for about 30-35 minutes, tossing it every now and then to ensure even cooking. Set aside to cool.

    Prepare your salad!

    Make your dressing: combine all dressing ingredients and mix until the sugar is dissolved.

    Scatter your crispy rice over your salad and pour your dressing on top. Enjoy!
