Rinse the rice a couple of times in tepid water.

Use the measuring cup to measure the rice and water.

Use the same amount of water as the rice.

Once cooked, remove the lid, fluff the rice, and eat it as soon as possible.
Notes
Do not over wash the rice, and do not skip the step of fluffing the rice after cooking.
