Shrimp & Garlic Guacamole
Give this Shrimp & Garlic Guacamole a try - you’ll thank me later! ✨ Pro-tip: add a dollop of sour cream to your guac to keep it from browning!
Ingredients
Directions
- 1
Begin by peeling and mashing your ripe avocados and adding them to a large bowl.
- 2
In another bowl, combine your finely chopped garlic, onion, and jalapeno.
- 3
To the same bowl, add the roughly chopped cilantro, a squeeze of lime juice, and salt, and pepper to taste.
- 4
Stir to combine.
- 5
Add about 1/2-3/4 cup of your Pico de Gallo into the bowl with the mashed avocados along with sour cream and stir to combine.
- 6
Next, prepare your shrimp. If using frozen shrimp, be sure to thaw them first by running them under cold water.
- 7
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- 8
Add in your shrimp, salt, and pepper to taste, and cook until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
- 9
Remove shrimp from pan and cut into small pieces, then add to the guacamole mixture.
- 10
Stir until the ingredients are combined and serve in a large bowl with your favorite tortilla chips.
